HOW TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD AND BE YOUR OWN CHEERLEADER

There are times in our lives that we feel like we have walked into a brick wall. It is times that we feel no inspiration .  You feel stifled and just want to bail out, give up and give in.  I have been in this situation many times in my life and if you do not grab hold of yourself, you will give up. 

Sometimes, it is not depression but it is the thought that things may not be moving as fast as you want them to.   I was in this state of mind about 2 weeks ago and I had to find way's to inspire myself.  I found that the best way to do this is watch Youtube Video's of people that I are inspired by.  People who I have gained so much knowledge from, are Abdul S. Mohammed, Kharris1224 AKA Coach Kim,  Sparkwisdom AKA Montina Portis.  Make sure to go to their Youtube Channels and I am sure that you will be inspired too.

There are many more people who will give you examples and the blueprint on how you can improve your lot in life.  The warmer day's are approaching and these are the times that you may be spending more time outdoors.  I found that when I am going to Doctors offices or places where I will be waiting for a long time, is to bring books and magazines to find inspiration. I plan to really get into my photography and takes some beautiful pictures of nature this summer.


You have to train yourself to not listen to anything negative from anyone telling you what you cannot accomplish in your life.
Sometimes, people are afraid that you just might accomplish everything that you set out to conquer.

Do not listen to anyone who is being negative and they are not successful themselves.


Speak good things into your life.  Tell yourself that you are worthy.  If you do not have anyone around you to encourage you, buy books and learn from the masters and watch Youtube videos from people who can assist you in changing your thought process.


Invest in yourself and your dream and you will be successful in life.  Do not spend money on things that do not add value to your life.  You are worthy of all the wonderful things that are to come into your life.  Push forward  and let your light shine and share your precious gift of knowledge with others. Make all the days that you have on this earth count.

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST TASTING LEMONADE

                                         THE BEST TASTING LEMONADE


We all remember the good old days when we came in from playing outside and Mom had dinner and a nice, cold, glass of lemonade.  It was such a good feeling and something that  gives me such a warm feeling inside.

I have been told that I make the best lemonade, so, I thought that now would be the best time to share it with you.


Ingredients:

1 lemon
4 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
half cup of concentrated lemon juice in the bottle



You will take your pitcher and make sure that it holds 4 cups of water or more and add your water to the pitcher.

Add half cup of the concentrated lemon juice in the bottle and stir.  Then you would cut your lemon in small slices and add to the pitcher.

Then you will add your sugar and stir and then taste the lemonade to make sure that it is sweet enough.

If you are not a person who likes their lemonade sweet, then you can add less sugar.

I am telling you; you will really love this lemonade.

SUMMER I WELCOME YOU WITH OPEN ARMS

                                            SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE!


Well, I have  been patiently waiting for this moment.  After enduring a cold, cold, winter, I am ready to look up to the sun rays and give my blessings for the warmth and the welcoming presence that sunshine can bring. 

By nature, I am a spring and fall girl, but I am so happy and looking forward to planning some wonderful events for me and my family this summer.

There are many ways you can enjoy this summer without it putting a hole in your pocket.
My Daughter and I love to spend summer days in New York City, sightseeing, eating, and attending all the free events in the parks.

We are blessed because our entertainment center in my state have a series of concerts outdoors and there are some vendors who sell ice cream and food that you can purchase while you wait for the show to begin.

Last year, I bought some food from home,but I did buy some ice cream from the vendors and we had such a good time.

It is also the best time to get together with your family and have a big cookout  and we just sit back and reminisce about the old days and feast on some delicious food


            THINGS I WANT TO DO THIS SUMMER
                                                     

1. Do some travelling to another State for a day trip
2. See a Broadway Play
3. Go to yard sales out of my area
4. Make homemade soaps
5. Go to the Wax Museum
6. Go on a cruise around New York
7. Learn a new skill
8. Go fishing
9. Go to West Indian Parade
10. Go to Concerts

FASHION AT IT'S FINEST

 

 

When I saw these outfits, I just had to pause,because I like everything about the pairing of the beige and white and the shorts just gives it extra style.  These outfits are simple but it oozes with understated class.  I can see young women wearing this, but, I can see a women in maybe her late thirties, with a well toned body rocking these ensembles.

I used to go to department stores to buy my underwear and I noticed that they still did not last that long.  I then started to go to little discount stores in my area and they sell the underwear in the packages.  The brands that I tried are Fruit Of The Loom, Hanes and Just My Size.
These brands are excellent because they sell underwear in different styles and I find them to last very long.

Hanes even have a warranty card in their packages if you are not satisfied.  I can get underwear three in a pack for three dollars or five in a pack for five dollars and they are of good quality.
 
They have underwear in silky materials and also cotton. It comes in a variety of nice colors so you can always find colors and styles that you like.

You can find underwear for girls and women styles.  Don't sleep on the small discount stores because you will get the best bargains there.

The two stores that I shop at to  get these fabulous prices are S&A Stores and Value Zone Stores.  I have also seen the packs at Family Dollar.

Evine Live. A Worthy Mention!

There is a wonderful Television Shopping Network that I have been watching and it is called Evine Live.

I have been watching it on and off for about a year and I am noticing that they have some really good prices for their clothing.

I watched today and they had Dresses starting for about $25,00 and the shipping was very low.

They carry all sizes and the clothing looks like it is made with some good material.

You can get other products there like all the other Shopping Networks , but, their prices seems to be very inexpensive.

If you have this channel in your area, please start watching and take advantage of their sales and savings.

They also have a terrific sale where you can buy all your bedding for a nice price.

 I have been a fan of Home Shopping for many years and I am going to add this channel to my list of favorites.

I WILL BE USING EXPENSIVE FASHIONS FOR INSPIRATION

Hello Ladies:  I have been missing in action on my post but I am now back.  From time to time, you will see me posting pictures of clothing that are clearly expensive.

The reason I am posting these kinds of pictures is to show you ideas of things you can purchase at Garage Sales and Thrift Stores.  You will be surprised with the different combinations that you can create from these kinds of sales.

I like to go to the Mall and imitate the looks that I seen and I can get a whole outfit for less than $20.00.

Personally, I love the look and feel of expensive clothing but I cannot always afford to pay so much for one piece of clothing.  A lot of times I will go to the expensive stores and scour their clearance rack to find just one expensive piece that is on sale and I will go home and pair it with my inexpensive finds from the thrift store.

If you see expensive fashions on my blog, please keep in mind that it is there to just give you a blueprint of what's in style and what you can create.

You can use this blueprint to purchase clothing for Children and Men also.

Go into these more expensive stores and literally feel the fabric, so you will know what to buy at the thrift store.
