If you have needed to wash clothes and you did not have a washing machine this process can seem a bit daunting. This method is a great way to effectively clean your clothes and sometimes it will get your clothes cleaner than a washing machine.
In the past, I washed clothes by hand because I was broke and this helped me save a lot of money. Although I now have washing machines, I still like to use this method because it is therapeutic to me. I still don't like to wring the clothes by hand, so I do have a clothing spin dryer. This really helps to make this chore so much easier.
If you have had a power outage, and you still needed to wash your clothes, you just need to have laundry soap a new plunger that you do not use for your toilet, and use your bathtub or a storage bin. Use anything that you have on hand.
There are people who like to live off the land and this is the only way that they wash clothes. Below I am listing the spin dryer that I use and also the clothes drying rack. Make sure that you have everything on hand that you need to dry your clothes.
