There are times when you may run out of your favorite laundry detergent and you wonder whether you should take the chance and use dish soap. 

Dish soap is perfect to have in your kitchen but also to use instead of laundry detergent if that is all that you have on hand. I have been doing this for many years without any problems.  You have to make sure that you do not use any dish soap that has bleach in it to avoid destroying your clothes.

Dish soap is a degreaser which means that you can use it to pretreat your clothes that have grease stains. I like using Dawn dish soap for this but you can use any dish soap that you have on hand.

Now, to use it in your washing machine you have to make sure that you add just a short squeeze or two to avoid having soap suds everywhere. I do this when using an HE washing machine or any washing machine and I do not run into any problems.

The truth is the fact that dish soap is a cleaner like any other cleaner and it tends to be very mild.  Sometimes I will soak two of my delicate shirts in a mild solution of dish soap; rinse then wring them out and hanging them up to dry.  

It works very well for washing your bras, hats, and baby clothes. Just make sure that you use one that is very mild to use on baby clothes.

This will prevent them from getting damaged in the wash. I absolutely love washing my jeans with dish soap because they will dry much faster than when using laundry detergent.

Dish soap is perfect to use if you have a ring around the collar.  Pretreat let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes and then toss in your washing machine.

It is perfect to use while on vacation if you want to handwash clothes without buying a bottle of laundry detergent.

Sometimes, I stock up on dish soap at my local Dollar store to keep on hand.

1. If you are line drying your clothes, they will be crunchy or a bit hard but you will not have any problems when you dry them in your dryer.

2. If you do not use dish soap with fragrance your clothes will be clean but they will not have a perfumey smell like when using laundry detergent.

3. You have to carefully avoid using too much so you don't experience any problems.  Monitor your children when using to avoid having suds everywhere.

1. Buy meats that are on sale or at the meat counter that you can have cut up and use for stews, stir fry, casseroles, and to flavor beans and rice.

3. Buy toilet tissue in bulk when you can because it will save you money in the long run. Family Dollar usually have great prices for their big bundle of toilet tissue. That is where I get mine most of the time.

4. Buy big boxes and bottles of laundry detergent because you can use them for other things like; bathroom cleaner, to clean your floors, to clean areas around your kitchen, and you can wash your walls with it.

5. Try to save fifty dollars out of every paycheck to use for emergencies. If you cannot save that much then save something even if it is twenty-five dollars.

25. Buy good quality used name-brand clothing at Thredup. You will save a lot of money and stay in style. I usually wait until they have a sale and then I clean up! Buy good quality used cars to avoid car payments and put some money away just in case you need repairs.

There is no secret that I love jewelry, which I have since I was a child.  I love wearing gold, silver, diamonds, birthstone jewelry and etc.

I have collected over the years and I like to take care of the jewelry that I have.  My favorite jewelry pieces are rings.  They are pretty and they really make me feel good.  

Lately, I have been on a no-buy so I haven't been buying jewelry lately but I have decided that when I start back buying jewelry I will buy some more expensive pieces that will last.

I find that jewelry has a way of updating your outfits and just gives you a more finished and luxurious look.  You can even revamp some older outfits to make them look better with a statement piece.

When shopping for jewelry you want to consider how much gold or silver is in the piece.  Look around the stones and make sure that they are held securely in the mounting.  

I like rings with big and small stones but I have found that over the years the rings with the small stones will require you to get more repairs and this can be costly.  

Carefully research before you buy a piece and look at the reviews.  Some jewelry stores are selling jewelry that looks pretty but they don't really hold up!

 

If you are starting your collection I would suggest that you buy jewelry that doesn't have stones unless it is an engagement or wedding ring.  These types of jewelry will give you a bold look but you will not have to worry about losing and having to replace stones.

If you are into silver jewelry buy the best quality silver that you can afford.  It gives you a great look but it will not be super costly.

I also love watches because it is functional but you can make such a statement wearing a fine watch.  I have a lot of them at different price points from inexpensive to the more expensive watches. 

If you are going to be wearing only one watch I think you should get a more expensive watch and let it be a watch that will go with every outfit.

Today I wanted to touch on this subject based on an experience that I had yesterday.  I had an appointment at my dentist's office and this appointment that should have been between one and two hours at the most turned into four hours.

I was placed into a room and the dentist started the procedure but then it became an agonizing assembly line of her stopping and attending to about four patients. 

I missed out on an important work assignment because of this.  The dental staff should have told me at the beginning the time that this procedure would take.

Time is money.  Time is a moment that you cannot get back.  Never let someone take your power of choice away because of their own selfish needs.  This relates to family, friends, or anybody who does not respect your time.

If I was told regarding the time that was needed for this visit, I would have rescheduled or canceled completely.

When people do not respect your time, they do not respect you.  When you go to a new establishment scan the room to see whether or not the people there have been waiting a long time.  Talk to them to see what their opinion is of the establishment.  

If you see anything going on that you do not like, get up and leave!  If you are being overloaded with assignments on your job that should be shared with the other employees, start looking online for another job because you will quickly become burned out.

Keep a diary of things that are going on at your place of employment, just in case you need it if you have been unfairly fired.  

Even with family; If your family is using you as a free babysitting service to drop their children off without respecting your time and boundaries, stop being available to them. Stop opening your door, don't let someone just drop by without calling you.  

If you have an appointment at the hair salon and you have to wait five hours; find a shop where you can have more personal care without the wait.  It is that simple!

Also, don't forget to speak up.  If I had done that when I stepped foot in that dentist's office, that could have alleviated the whole problem.

Avoid long phone calls and texts after work to protect your private time and remember

Hello everyone, I have been looking through numerous websites to see where I can find nice men's clothing that is of good quality and clothes that fit well.

While searching I found a lot of attractive clothing but the clothes didn't hang well on the models who were displaying the fashions.

Hello everyone, today I want to share with you the reasons why I love using Instacart.

About five months ago, I was recovering at home from being hospitalized with Covid-19.  My family could not visit me, and I felt isolated and alone.  My mom's best friend dropped some food off that she prepared at my door.  I was so thankful because I was on oxygen, which means that I was unable to use my stove.  I was able to use the microwave and my crockpot but I had no way of buying food.

I looked on the app for food and I found such a large variety of items that I could order.  I placed my order and left instructions for the delivery person to leave the food in front of my door.  They followed the directions and I was able to get food in my home without any problems.  Instacart is ideal for people who are disabled or just don't have time to shop.  It is also safer because you do not have to be in a busy store.

I thought that when I recovered, I would go back to doing my food shopping in a supermarket but to my surprise, I continued using Instacart because it is so easy and it saves me so much time. 

The fees for using Instacart can be a bit pricey but for the convenience, it is well worth it!
